We are thrilled to share an exciting update from our Partners in the Philippines, their Sunday Schools in Donsol and Tabaco are thriving!

What started as small gatherings of faithful believers has blossomed into vibrant, joy-filled ministries for children in these communities. It’s a beautiful testimony to the power of God’s provision and the ongoing impact of your support.

Donsol and Tabaco: Where Faith Meets Joy

In Donsol, where Mosaic helped plant a permanent church just last year, the Sunday School ministry is full of laughter, learning, and love. Read the entire story of the Donsol church here. Recently, the children celebrated Easter with a colorful piñata party, sweet treats, and meaningful conversations about Jesus.

In Tabaco, the kids took part in retelling the story of Easter from John chapter 20, impressively sharing the Gospel message with boldness and joy. You can watch their story below.

A Look Back: How the Donsol Church Began

Just a little while ago, the Donsol congregation was meeting under the shade of a mango tree with no building to call their own. But through faithful giving and divine timing, especially during our 2024 Annual Gala, enough was raised to secure land and build what is now a fully thriving church.

It was a pivotal moment, one made possible by our generous partners and the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Today, Sunday services fill the building with praise, and the joyful sounds of children echo through its walls during Sunday School.

What was once a distant dream is now a center of spiritual growth and community support in Sorsogon, Philippines.

Our Partners on the Ground: Pastor Edwin & Jo Dueñas

None of this would be possible without the tireless work of Pastor Edwin and Jo Dueñas, our trusted leaders and partners in the Philippines.

Their leadership has been instrumental in the growth of not only the Donsol and Tabaco churches but also a network of over 30 churches across the Bicol region.

Their ministry includes the Dream Center, youth outreach, widow care, and community education efforts, all driven by a passion for the Gospel and deep love for the people they serve.

They continue to pour their lives into this mission with extraordinary commitment, and their influence has shaped a legacy of faith that touches every child who walks through the doors of Sunday School.

The Impact of the 2025 Gala: A Church Built from Your Generosity

These vibrant Sunday School gatherings are the fruit of something powerful: your generosity in action.

On April 25th, Mosaic hosted its second annual Around the World Gala, and God moved in miraculous ways.

Through the support of generous donors and mission-minded churches, $27,000 was raised, enough to fully fund the construction of the new Donsol church.

As Psalm 127:1 reminds us:

“Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.”

Every brick, every beam, and every child’s smile is a testament to what happens when God’s people unite for His glory.
