Tanzania is home to the world's best safaris and the ever so majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, shooting nearly 20,000 feet into the sky. While rich in beauty and natural resources, this sub-saharan African nation faces enormous challenges, particularly regarding access to safe drinking water, power, and quality education. Thankfully, there is always the local church! We are blessed to personally know and work with dozens of churches who are eager to be the hands and feet of Jesus to their neighbors.

KEY LEADERSHIP
In spite of the overwhelming levels of poverty and both short & long term hurdles, there are glimmers of hope to be found and that's where our strategic partnership with dozens of local churches come into play, particularly under the leadership of our key partners, Vickie Njogu and her husband, Francis Njogu.

Vickie and her husband Francis are our partners in Tanzania (Vickie is employed by Mosaic International). They have two children. Vickie met Mark Sherman when he and his family lived in Tanzania, and they began to collaborate on community service. She was moved to see the difference that was being made in the community. When the opportunity came to work for Mosaic, it was an easy choice! Vickie hopes to be able to connect with multiple villages around Tanzania, building relationships that will open hearts to receive God. She hopes to see changes in people’s lives through small acts of kindness and be a part of uniting God’s church. In her free time, she loves to listen to worship songs, read books, and watch movies.
KEY INITIATIVES
Tanzania is home to some of the most sought after places on Earth to visit including majestic Mount Kilimanjaro and world-class safaris. At the same time, the poverty levels found in this nation are dire, where the majority of people lack access to basic things like safe drinking water, power, and beyond. Add the effects of the HIV/AIDS crisis and other crippling statistics in, and you will quickly realize the absolute need for local churches to be the hands and feet of Jesus in their communities.
Our key initiatives in Tanzania include safe water and solar light outreaches, investment in education, and various church mobilization initiatives in the Kilimanjaro region and beyond. In partnership with local churches we have seen God do incredible things, particularly in communities where witchcraft is commonplace. One of the most effective and exciting initiatives are our conferences & seminars for pastors, leaders, and churches.
As we have partnered with local churches we've seen God bring total transformation which has led to historical levels of church growth. As we continue to invest in the leaders of this nation we have been given a glimpse into the enormous potential of what it looks like to see the Kingdom of God come now, on Earth as it is in heaven. You too can play a vital role in mobilizing churches in Tanzania!
