What One Night of Giving Actually Builds: Two Years of Mosaic Gala Impact

For two years, one evening has changed lives on the other side of the world. Here's what Mosaic International supporters have built — and what's coming next on May 1, 2026.

One Evening. Real Results.

Nobody builds a church over dinner. Nobody pours a foundation between the salad and the main course. But when a room full of people decides to give... really give... something extraordinary starts moving on the other side of the world.

That's the story of the Mosaic International Annual Gala. Two years in, the proof is undeniable.

2024: The First Year — And What $24,000 Did

The first Mosaic gala raised $24,000. It welcomed eight new monthly donors and saw more than 50 people give for the very first time.

Here's where those dollars went.

A church planted in South Asia. In areas closed to the gospel, in communities that had never had access to it, a church was planted — reaching unreached people groups in some of the most spiritually inaccessible places in the world.

A foundation poured in Rwanda. Literally. Concrete was poured for a new community outreach center — a foundation for everything that comes next in that community.

Land purchased in the Philippines. A congregation that had been meeting under a tree lost their gathering place. Gala funds helped purchase land for a new church plant so that community wouldn't be scattered.

100+ leaders equipped in Tanzania. Across the Kilimanjaro region, more than 100 pastors and leaders were strengthened through leadership trainings and marriage retreats — the backbone of their communities, equipped to keep going.

All of that from one evening.

2025: The Second Year — And What $27,000 Did

The second gala raised $27,000. This time, the goal was to plant a church in the Philippines — not just the idea of one. A real church: acquire the land, construct the building, support the pastor and his outreaches for the next five years.

Here's what happened.

The land was secured within months of the gala. The building went up. And on Christmas Eve — Christmas Eve — that congregation held its very first service.

The pastor, who is also a professor, is leading. Young adults are already gathering. Community outreaches have already begun.

That is the speed at which one night of generosity can move.

Two Years. One Picture.

Step back and look at what Mosaic donors have built across just two evenings:

  • A church planted in South Asia reaching previously unreached people groups

  • A concrete foundation poured for a community outreach center in Rwanda

  • Land purchased in the Philippines for a congregation that had nowhere to meet

  • 100+ pastors and leaders equipped across Tanzania's Kilimanjaro region

  • A brand-new church in the Philippines that held its first service on Christmas Eve

This is what happens when people show up.

Year Three Is Coming: Around the World, A Night of Wonder

On May 1, 2026, Mosaic International hosts its third annual gala — Around the World: A Night of Wonder — at The Bridge Church in Murrieta, California. The evening begins at 5:30 p.m.

This year, the focus is on children. On kids being transformed by God's love through vibrant children's ministries across South Asia, Rwanda, Tanzania, the Philippines, and beyond. Local churches are investing in the next generation — bringing hope, teaching truth, and shaping young lives for Jesus.

Every dollar raised on May 1 goes directly to children's ministry.

Year one built a foundation. Year two built a church. Year three is an open door.

How to Be Part of It

Sponsor a Table — $550 Cover a table of up to seven guests, seated together, at no cost to them. You don't need to attend to sponsor. And 100% of donations raised that evening go directly to the field.

Reserve an Individual Seat — $79 For the first time, a limited number of individual seats are available for those who want to be in the room without hosting a full table. Seats are limited and given priority after table sponsorships.

You Don't Have to Travel to Make a Difference

You don't have to go to Tanzania to strengthen a pastor there. You don't have to move to the Philippines to help a church find its footing. You don't have to be on the ground in Rwanda to help pour a foundation.

You just have to show up on May 1.

Two years of proof say it's worth it.
