From Verses to Action: Kids Walk for Water
Scripture isn’t meant to stay on a page, it’s meant to come alive. That’s exactly what happened during Mosaic International’s Kids Walk for Water in Old Town Murrieta. This powerful event invited children and families to walk in solidarity with those who must travel miles just to find water.
Blue containers in hand, kids walked with purpose and raised $3,490, enough to bring clean water to 3,490 lives in northern Tanzania for an entire year. The money was wired the very next day and is already being used by Mosaic’s Tanzania team to distribute life-changing ceramic water filters.
“Kids raised $3,490… kids did that!” — Mike Westaway, Mosaic Ambassador
These young world-changers didn’t just memorize verses, they lived them out. They were strong and courageous, showed radical generosity, and became the hands and feet of Jesus. That’s the power of a school Bible moment turned into a mission.
Helping Kids Carry More Than Backpacks
As we gear up for another school year, let’s equip our kids with more than school supplies. Let’s send them with God’s Word in their hearts and the belief that they can make a difference, even now.
