The following is an update from the Njogus about what God is doing in one special village in Tanzania that we have been investing in for the past few years: Where Your Gift Transforms a Village “Jesus replied, “Go back and report to John what you hear and see:” “The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor.” - Mathew 11:4 When we met pastor Eliatosha, he was using his little living room for church services! He was indeed happy to do so in as much as it was out of necessity. Later the owner of the house kicked him out of the house and all he could do was watch some of his members disappear and sadly some left the faith. As time passed he had a person who aloud him to build a temporal structure on their land. Mosaic was instrumental in putting up a roof for this little village church! Fast forward:
The church has seen several lives of villagers transformed!
People are being discipled.
Several have made a commitment to follow Jesus.
The church has seen several healings. There have been powerful deliverances from demonic oppressions.
Women who felt like their babies were not moving in their womb have experienced movement with prayers.
People who were involved in witchcraft have handed charms to be destroyed.
People who could not eat/drink some things can now do so after prayers!
The church has by far quadrupled.
One thing Pastor Eliatosha has reiterated is the fact that God has been honored. Here people relate a good place of worship with Gods move. The villagers who watched the transition from being kicked out of the house to now having a building though temporal credits it to the greatness of God. On the day when they officially inaugurated the church; Mosaic donated a solar system for this church. Every Friday there have been people praying through the night. This is growing the members relationship with God!
