God in Faith, Mission in Action: Trusting God Wherever He Sends You

Updated: Jun 3

What does it really mean to live with God in faith? Is it simply believing in something we can’t see, or is it something more active, more alive, and more contagious than we ever imagined?

At Mosaic, we believe that faith is never meant to stay still. Faith moves, builds, and sends. It’s the heartbeat behind every one of our partnerships around the globe, from Tanzania to the Philippines to Rwanda and beyond. It’s what fuels the kind of faith that steps out when it would be easier to stay comfortable.

But before action, there’s belief. And before belief, there’s surrender.

Understanding the Kind of Faith God Desires

The Bible tells us that without faith it is impossible to please God, Hebrews 11:6:

"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." - Hebrews 11:6

That Bible verse is one worth paying attention to. But what kind of faith are we talking about?

It’s not faith in outcomes. It’s not faith in ourselves. It’s faith in the One who exists, who speaks, who sends, and who provides. This kind of faith trusts in God no matter the circumstance, believing He is present and powerful even when the path is unclear.

This kind of faith doesn’t sit on a shelf. It moves through us by the Holy Spirit, guiding us to be the hands and feet of Jesus in every corner of the earth. This faith is action! It's the faith of Jesus, the same faith that led Him to surrender, to serve, and to save.

The Righteous Shall Live by Faith

Romans 1:17 tells us:

“The righteous shall live by faith.”

Living by faith means aligning our daily lives with the righteousness of God. It means asking not “What do I want?” but “Where is God leading me?” Whether He calls us to our neighborhoods or to the nations, faith means we follow, even when it stretches us.... actually ESPECIALLY when it stretches us.

And we’ve seen this kind of lived-by-faith action in our partners again and again.

  • Pastor Edwin & Jo Dueñas In the Philippines!

    • In a nation of over 7,000 islands and 108 million people, where poverty and human trafficking continue to challenge families, Edwin and Jo Dueñas are mobilizing hope through the local church. From medical missions to disaster relief, and now through the incredible Dream Center in Tabaco City, this couple is equipping youth and families to rise above hardship and live into God’s purpose for their lives.

  • Vickie & Francis Njogu in Tanzania!

    • Tanzania is rich in beauty but faces stark challenges, only 16% of the population has access to electricity, and 70% lack safe drinking water. Vickie and Francis Njogu have been with Mosaic since the beginning, joyfully leading safe water outreaches, pastor training, and church growth initiatives. Their ministry is transforming communities across East Africa by raising up leaders and equipping churches to thrive.

  • Our Leader in South Asia!

    • South Asia is home to one-fourth of the world’s population and is a region where the church often suffers persecution. Yet despite the risks, our trusted local partner continues to plant churches, train men and women, and serve the poor with dignity and courage. The impact of this mission is reaching into the most unreached places with the love of Jesus.

  • Pacifique & Kendi in Rwanda!

    • In Rwanda, 39% of the population lives below the poverty line, and over 80% lack electricity, yet it remains a land full of potential and purpose. Pacifique and Kendi lead Fatherhood Ministries, uniting churches, raising worship leaders, and empowering vulnerable women and children through education, business training, and the gospel. Their work is a shining light in the northern hills of Musanze District and beyond.

Their faith didn’t begin with a microphone or a crowd. It began in the quiet, often hard places, trusting God in the unknown and saying “yes” to His mission anyway.

The Son of God Leads, We Follow

Galatians 2:20 reminds us of the ultimate example of faith:

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” - Galations 2:20

The faith of Jesus wasn’t passive. It was sacrificial. It walked in obedience, it endured the cross, and it trusted the Father completely. When we step into mission, whether through giving, going, or praying, we are walking in that same Spirit-led obedience. We’re saying...

“Here I am, Lord. Send me.

You Don’t Have to Go Far to Live by Faith

Not everyone is called to travel internationally... but everyone is called to live by faith. Maybe your mission field is your living room. Your workplace. Your small group. Maybe it’s simply saying “yes” to giving so someone else can go. If you are not being called to be sent, then maybe consider helping someone else who is.

That’s why Mosaic International created The Circle, a global community of monthly givers who believe that ordinary faith can lead to extraordinary impact. Members of The Circle aren’t all pastors or missionaries. They’re teachers, parents, small business owners, students people who believe God exists and want to make a real difference in the lives of others.

And the best part? You’ll see exactly how your giving is being used. Because we believe in transparency, accountability, and proof of impact.

Faith in Action: The Ripple Effect of Obedience

When one person trusts in God, the ripple effects are eternal. It may start with a single step, one “yes” in your spirit, but God uses it to multiply hope across generations and nations.

Your faith might look like praying for one of our global partners. It might look like becoming a Mosaic Ambassador and sharing the mission. It might look like giving monthly so a student in South Asia can go to school to become a Pastor. Whatever it looks like, it matters.

Because it is impossible to please God without faith, but with it? With it, we can move mountains.

You Were Made to Be Sent… and to Send Others

Maybe God is calling you to go. Maybe He’s asking you to give. Either way, your role in the Kingdom is significant.

At Mosaic, we’re not just about sending missionaries. We’re about building up believers, mobilizing churches, equipping leaders, and sharing stories that reveal the goodness of God through everyday faithfulness. And we’d love for you to be part of it.

Join The Circle, our giving community, and help support the kind of mission-minded faith that truly changes lives. Your monthly donation helps lift the arms of those on the front lines of ministry.

Together, we’re saying...

“Yes, Lord, we will go. And we’ll help send others, too.”

Join The Circle now and become part of a global movement of ordinary believers living out an extraordinary call.

You don’t have to move across the globe to live by faith. But you can help fuel the mission of those who do.

God in faith. Mission in action. Wherever He sends, we go, and we give.
